For patients and their families, these camps offer an even more impactful experience, providing a period of relief from the daily challenges of illness, a chance to connect with others who are facing similar struggles, and an opportunity to create lasting memories. Here, we highlight three organizations that provide these experiences to both patients and families: Camp Kesem, Camp Camp Esperanza, and Camp Quality USA.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n Camp Kesem is a week-long summer camp for kids ages 6-18 who are impacted by a parent\u2019s cancer. At this camp, there is a focus on creating fun experiences that help children escape the challenges of coping with a parent\u2019s cancer diagnosis. Campers find adventure, creativity, build trust, and create new friendships.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nCamp kesem<\/a> <\/b><\/h2>\n
